DR. Justine Siegal Brings Baseball For All to

KTTV Fox 11: Good Day LA

Dr. Justine Siegal and six fabulous athletes played baseball on LIVE TV with Maria and Araksya from Good Day LA on a cool, crisp Friday morning outside the Fox studio.

The anchors were eager to meet Dr. Siegal during Women's History Month as she was the first woman ever to pitch Major League Baseball batting practice. First she pitched to the Cleveland Indians, and then the Oakland A's, The Tampa Bay Rays, the St. Louis Cardinals, The New York Mets and the Houston Astros.

Dr. Siegal created the non-profit organization Baseball For All, the voice and hub of girls baseball. Baseball for All fosters, empowers, encourages and provides opportunities for girls to participate in baseball.

Dr. Siegal was on the show to promote her upcoming national girls baseball tournament in Orlando, Florida from May 30th to June 4th, 2015 at the International Women's Baseball Center.

Her goal is to educate the world about the importance of providing equal athletic opportunities for girls.  Girls who have been told back home that they are not allowed to try out for a school team will have a chance to play with other girls their age from around the country.

Do you know a girl aged 8-13 that might like to go?  There are a few spots still available at www.baseballforall.com.
