DENVER, CO, April 7, 2017… Meet Stacey Marcellus and Benjamin Frohlichstein, co-founders of Cappello’s and the makers of uniquely delicious options for gourmet food lovers, healthy eaters and those with dietary restrictions. From their grain-free, gluten-intolerant and Paleo fans to those with a multitude of auto-immune disorders or diabetes, Cappello’s offers a cherished rarity - choice. Children with Autism are delighted to eat pizza and pasta safely again and their parents love the nutrient-dense ingredients that the company is so proud to offer. This month, 10% of the profits from online sales at cappellos.com will be donated to the Autism Hope Alliance, whose motto is “Once you choose HOPE, anything is possible.”

Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are developmental conditions that affect children by disrupting their ability to communicate and interact socially. In hopes of reducing a child's symptoms of autism, parents often try alternative treatments such as specialized diets. Lately, the gluten-free/casein-free diet has grown in popularity. Some parents report improvements in autism symptoms with this dietary regimen.

The Autism Hope Alliance, is a non-profit organization founded by Tom Bohager that emerged from the Natural Foods Industry. Autism Hope Alliance’s mission is to help families through provided educational tools, financial support and volunteerism. Their goal is to help raise funds for programs offered through Generation Rescue, Talk about Curing Autism, A Place of Grace, and The Autism Treatment Center of America™ among others.

Cappello’s is among the innovative brands that are changing the way food service and consumers feel about healthy food products. Cappello’s showcases its line of gluten-free and grain-free all-natural pizzas with Sheep’s Milk cheese, naked crusts, beautiful pastas, and cookie doughs at prominent expos and trade shows around the country. Specialty stores have embraced the products.

Almost 7 years ago, Stacey and Ben were exploring the possibilities of creating pastas with ingredients other than traditional flour. They worked with combinations of ingredients until they perfected their recipes. “We have a dedicated gluten-free facility. Our goal is for people to have access to delicious food that makes them feel good,” Stacey says.

To stay on top of their fan’s demand, Cappello’s concentrates on new product innovation and supports community organizations like the Autism Hope Alliance.
