LOS ANGELES BEERATHON

The Beerathon is an annual marathon of beer that began in New York.  When the event expanded to Los Angeles, Amy Levy PR drew in beer lovers everywhere. 



GOALS:

Raise awareness about the event and increase attendance from the first Beerathon in New York.



TACTICS:

 

MEDIA OUTREACH:​

We secured stories in high-profile outlets, including the Los Angeles      

Times, Los Angeles Magazine, LAist, and Thrillist, among many others. We also secured media interviews with the Beerathon organizer and reached out to local broadcast outlets for event coverage.



SOCIAL MEDIA:

Employed a social media campaign that increased Facebook “likes” from  29 to 2,000 and Twitter followers from 3 to 280.

RESULTS:

Our efforts more than tripled the expected attendance at the LA Beerathon from previous years from 1,200 to 4,000 attendees.
